    Best Selling Lures for 2009

    People are always asking us which lures do the business and I know myself there's always a temptation to dig around in someone elses lure box, especially if there're catching and you're not!

    Here's a list of our top selling lures from 2009:

    1. Storm Chug Bug
    2. Yo-Zuri Crystal Minnow
    3. Rapala J13
    4. Rapala X-Rap 10
    5. Rapala Sliver

    I haven't fished much with Chug Bugs this year but I'm going to make a conscious effort to put a few back in my bag in 2010!

    Happy New Year to you and thanks for your support this year, we have some great plans for 2010 and loads of new stock on the way so stay in touch :-)

    Happy New Year to you too Tom! And thanks again for the unique waders with spikes, they were 'essential' for success.

    I wonder how the good old Rapala J13 got into the list because it is kinda difficult to make long casts with it when using it on-shore and casting it into the gutters (+40meters or more please) ... unless people use it on a boat of course but then again I believe the YoZuri's in your shop are much better at that :)

    It is great that the X-Rap is listed as well. The Rapala X-Raps (size 10cm, and not the bigger ones) rule most of the time over here due to its superb casting abilities & for the vibrations it generates, and thirdly as it doesn't dive too deep ( and get stuck above the oyster banks where the seabass is waiting left and right of it!....);
    Its color doesn't matter that much too us as it is dark or getting dark at sunset most of the times that we fish, and catch, with plugs over here. Although I must admit that the (darkish) Mackerel color does a good job around sunset! Sidenote: I must mention though that our team is one of the very few that fish with plugs and special subsurface spoons (which were designed for very deep water...) and floats too during sunset and preferably in the dark real dark over here in the small area of Zeeland in The Netherlands and that most others don't.

    cu around.
